Akhil Akkineni's 'Junnu' is all set to be launched on 3rd April. This is his second film after the debut debacle 'Akhil'. Vikram Kumar of 'Manam' and '24' fame will be directing this for Annapurna Studios banner. Producer and Akhil's dad Nagarjuna has fixed April 3rd as the date for movie launch.

'Junnu' is the title being considered. The title of the film comes from the sweet name called junnu and the heroine's pet name happens to be the same in the film. The film is being made in the comedy action genre. Action stunts will be more of entertainment-oriented. 

Vikram Kumar has established as a director with different approach with his movies. Hence, this film has creating lot of buzz even before it was launched. Even Akkineni fans are hoping that he would give right break to Akhil that he couldn't get with maiden movie.
