Baahubali 2 lands in trouble in TN & Karnataka

'Baahubali 2' is the most-awaited Indian movie of this year and national media is promoting the movie with daily dose of news, interviews of the cast and crew, and other updates. Every movie lover is eagerly waiting for the release on 28th April.

But the movie's release has landed in trouble in Tamilnadu as a film distributor has approached Madras high court for a stay on the film’s release due to unpaid dues Rs 1.18 crore. He sought stay on distribution, exhibition and release of Bahubali 2 in any form anywhere in Tamil Nadu without settling the dues as agreed upon.

On the other hand, in Karnataka some politicians are demanding a ban on the movie's screening as Sathya Raj (played as Kattappa in the movie) made some harsh comments against Karnataka farmers in Cauvery water issue. Also exhibitors are not confident of the movie's collections as Karntaka Government is putting a cap on ticket prices in multiplexes shortly. The exhibitors are refusing to pay huge advances to the distributor.

All in all, many issues are plaguing the movie in these two states. But the team is confident that all issues will be resolved by next week.
