Rana who is back from the promotions of 'Baahubali 2' has joined Teja's 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' in Kurnool. On Tuesday (April 18, 2017), some key scenes involving rally of Rana were filmed at famous Kondareddy Buruju in the city.

Rana is playing the role of a politician hailing from Rayalaseema. The film is a political thriller. Kajal Agarwal and Catherine Tresa are the heroines of the film.
