Rajinikanth's 2.0 postponed to 2018 Republic Day

Seems like all big movies are getting postponed. Mahesh Babu's 'Spyder' has been pushed to later month from June. Now comes the news of Rajinikanth and Shankar’s most anticipated '2.0' getting postponed. The film has been pushed from Diwali 2017 to Jan 25, 2018. 

"Our most ambitious project, Shankar's 2.0,shifts to 25Jan 2018. It moves from earlier Diwali release to achieve world class standards in VFX," Raju Mahalingam, COO of Lyca Productions announced through twitter. 

'2.0' is sequel to Rajinikanth and Shankar's record-breaking hit 'Robo'. The sequel is being made with whopping Rs 350 Cr. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is playing the villain in the movie. The film has Amy Jackson as the female lead. It is going to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
