Chalapathi Rao apologises, Nagarjuna raps him

Tuesday, May 23, 2017 - 13:30

Senior actor Chalapathi Rao offered apologies to Nari Lokam (women's world) and said he regrets over making such derogatory comments. But he also stressed that his statements were misquoted and twisted by media.

As per his argument, media and social media activists have failed to understand the Telugu language perfectly. "In Telugu, a word has many meanings. One should not take a statement on its face value but go for its deeper meaning of the language and context. I was actually slamming the hero's statement in the film," he defended his comments.

On other hand, Nagarjuna rapped him. He tweeted, "I always respect women personally and in my films/I definitely do not agree wt Chalapati rao's derogatory comments/dinosaurs do not exist!!".
