DJ Song controversy: Harish Shankar responds

"Gudilo Badilo Madilo Vodilo", the super hit song from 'Duvvada Jagannadham' has landed in a controversy. The beautiful romantic duet clicked with netizens. Bunny’s graceful steps and catchy tune has made song to attract five million views in YouTube!

The song written by Sahiti has lines praising heroine in a classic sanskrit language. But some Brahmin associations say that the song hurts the sentiments of Brahmins. They say 'sacred words' from Rudra Strotra were used in this song to praise heroine. They are objecting to this. But director Harish Shankar, who is also Brahmin, says the association members are interpreting the song in wrong way. 

We have not crossed any limits, nor the song demeans any strotra, Harish Shankar asserts.

On the other hand, Aditya Music the label that released the songs of the movie is happy that songs are getting huge views on Youtube. Umesh Gupta of 'Aditya Music' said, "Aditya record label is proud to be associated with this prestigious film 'Duvvada Jagannadham'.
