Baahubali 2 heading towards Rs 1700 Cr

'Baahubali 2' has so far collected a gross of Rs 1650 cr worldwide from all the language versions. The Hindi version has grossed more than Rs 500 cr in India. At present, 'Baahubali 2' has grossed Rs 1340 cr in India. Rest came from overseas markets. The makers are now desperate to make it a big hit in China as 'Dangal' created history in China by collecting more than Rs 1000 Cr there.

The first part of 'Baahubali' was a disaster in China. The distributor ended up losing heavily on investment. Recently, Rajamouli in a Television interview said the collections in China help only to boast the grand collections figure. "Producers don't get much beyond 12 percent from the collections in China. The grand figure only helps to boast the figures," he said. But Arka Media wants to make it a hit in China by any cost. So, going by Rajamouli's statement, they are also trying to boast the figures.

'Baahubali 2' is second highest grossing Indian movie ever. Rajamouli has directed the film and the dubbing work in Chinese language is in full swing.
