Allu Arjun takes decision for US market

"Pubbullo vayinche DJ kadu, box office baddal kotte DJ!" Well, let us add that conditions apply. It's because, while 'DJ' is busy mopping up huge revenues in the domestic market, it's not doing as well as it should in the crucial overseas segment.
While the makers are proudly suggesting that the film is busy shaking all non-'Baahubali' records, 'DJ' is struggling to cross $ 1 Million in the US. So far, it has collected $ 0.9 Million and it may make do with some $ 0.2 Million more at best. This is not the first time.'Sarrainodu' had a similar bad experience in the US. While it became a summer blockbuster in AP and TS, the Boyapati film didn't get noteworthy figures in Overseas market. If the 'Sarrainodu' experience gets repeated, 'DJ' distributors will be in for a loss. This will affect the pre-release business of Bunny's next also.
That's why, Allu Arjun has decided to leave for US to promote 'DJ' there. He will be leaving for USA this Thursday (June 29). The idea is to widen his market in that country, which had thrown up encouraging results in the case of 'Julayi', 'S/o Sathyamurthy' and 'Race Gurram'.
