It's not often that a Bollywood queen, contemporary or yesteryear, accepts a Southern movie. When an actress in question is someone as seasoned as Kajol, it's bound to grab everyone's eyeballs.

The other day, the Telugu version trailer of 'VIP 2' was released, much to the delight of Dhanush's admirers as well as those of us who grew up adoring Kajol's beautiful performance in films like 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' as school or college goers.

Now, director Aishwarya Dhanush has offered a meaty role that befits the talent of the acclaimed actress.  At 42, this mother of two is set to be that tough nut Vasundhara whom the hero has to defeat in a fight of survival of the fittest. Seeing corporate world as a political terrain, the unethical entrepreneur has made it a point to finish Raghuvaran (Dhanush's name in the movie).

Interesting stuff seems to be in store. Only that we will not get to listen to her vivacious voice in the Telugu version.  Otherwise, Kajol's fans are assured of sheer entertainment.
