First Half of Tollywood 2017: 11 Hits

First half of 2017 has come to an end. The movie year began with Megastar Chiranjeevi's come back movie 'Khaidi No150'. In six months, 81 straight Telugu films hit the screens and 11 movies made money. 

For the first time in the history, a Telugu film became number hit in India. 'Baahubali 2' (Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam versions put together) became number one blockbuster in India with more than Rs 1000 Cr. Overall, 'Baahubali 2' grossed Rs 1600 cr worldiwde. 

In AP and Telangana, 'Baahubali 2' collected whopping Rs 196 Cr (share). On the other hand, Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No 150' collected whopping Rs 100 cr (share) worldwide. These two are the massive blockbusters in the first half of 2017.
