Sai Pallavi

Though 'Fidaa' is her debut film in Tollywood, Sai Pallavi is not unknown to youth audiences. She became a rage in South India with her stunning portrayal of a lecturer in Malayalam blockbuster 'Premam'. Although the film was remade in Telugu by the same name, the Malayalam version also became quite popular in Telugu states, as youth had downloaded it online.

So, all are eagerly waiting for 'Fidaa', which is directed by Sekhar Kammula. But the question is: can she pull it off this role of a true blue Telangana rural girl named Bhanumati. The movie is mostly shot in Bhansuvada and Nizamabad, interior Telangana. The director has made her to dub the dialogues in Telangana dialect in her own voice.

Even pure Telugu-speaking artistes find it is tough to get the dialect right. Being a non-Telugu native girl, it must have been very tough for her. But Kammula, who has command over Telugu language and dialect of Telangana, says she has surprised everyone by getting the accent perfect.

The makers are hoping more on the charm of this girl than Varun Tej who has delivered series of duds and lacks box-office appeal at this moment. So, she is main box-office pull of this movie.
