Fans sometimes abuse me, says Renu Desai

The social media war among fans of Telugu superstars has been affecting Renu Desai, Pawan Kalyan's divorced wife.  She has been taking it silently.  Finally, the Pune-based 33-year-old has opened up.  In an interview posted for her Twitter followers, she has shared her heart-felt feelings.

Kalyan garu is my friend:

"I share friendly relations with Kalyan garu.  It's an irony that people have problem with his closest person sharing his pics.  I have seen him from close distance for 11 years.  I have been his friend for 17 years.  I am witnessing his political journey.”

Fans of other heroes vent out their frustration:

"I receive abuses often for posting about Kalyan garu.  They accuse me of gaining publicity or seeking attention.  They abuse me.  I am a soft target of these anonymous social media users who don't have a DP pic.  It doesn't affect me.  I feel they are merely expressing their frustrations.  They become someone else when on social media.  When they are with family members, they become goody-goody sons.  Sometimes, even girls do a lot of abusing.

Kalyan garu and others are professionals:

They are professionals and have good relations.  Venkatesh garu would be our guest many times.  Kalyan garu came in support of Mahesh Babu garu when he spoke against piracy.

Kalyan garu told me not to do that:

Kalyan garu asked me not to post the pics of our children.  I respect his opinion.  They shouldn't be exposed to social media limelight at this young age.  That's why I am not posting their pics often.  I am doing it only for occasions like birthdays and festivals like Holi.

I will continue to do that.  Let them do whatever they want:

I will keep on posting Kalyan garu's pics.  Those having a problem with it will get used to it in the course of time.  Fans ki aithe pandage.
