I am just 17 now, says Kalyana Vaibhogame heroine

She shot to fame with ‘Yevade Subramanyam’. Malavika Nair was lauded for her acting and now she is all set to show her acting prowess in the film ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’. The actress says that she has given her best for this movie. Malavika has pinned her hopes on this film and she hopes that everyone likes it.
 
Telling us about Kalyana Vaibhogame the actress said that this film deals with the perspective of two generations on the institution called marriage. We will see how the younger and the older generation deal with this. The film does not preach about who is better or what is best.
 
The actress said that initially she had rejected this movie. That’s because she is in a very crucial juncture where her education is concerned. But later she accepted this film as she thought that she would miss out on a beautiful film.
 
This being her second film, she did not have any major problems with the language. As Malavika did not want to sound like a Malayali or North Indian, she improved her diction and was helped by the unit of Kalyana Vaibhogame. Speaking about her male co-star Naga Shourya, the actress said that she finds him very funny. She has enjoyed performing with him and this itself qualifies for her to say that he is a good actor.
 
Malavika never thought of becoming an actor. It was her dad who encouraged her to become one. Initially she detested acting but it’s her favorite now. But acting is not the only thing she wants to do in life. She paints and right now she says that she needs to find out what she wants to do in life. She is just 17 now. "I am youngest actress around," she says happily.
