Kalyan Krishna is aiming for a hat-trick. His last two films - 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' and 'Raarandoi Veduka Chuddam' - were blockbusters. His latest film 'Nela Ticket' starring Ravi Teja is making buzz all over. The film releases on May 25. The director says he makes films that he'd like to watch them as an audience in theater. First reaction after hearing the role

Kalyan Ram was recently saying that you have evolved as an actress since 'Lakshmi Kalyanam'.  He has done 14 films and you have done 50.  How was the bonding on the sets between you both?

Akhil Akkineni is pretty much relaxed. Saying that he doesn't look at numbers, the youngster talks about what went well for 'Hello!', what mistakes he did.

What went into preparing for the much-acclaimed action scenes?

Both ability and training. Capability is one thing. But I also had to put in hours and hours of physical training under Bob Brown's team of 16 trainers who were in Hyderabad. There was a separate trainer for each of the segments like running, jumping, etc. It was a long 60-day training regimen.

As Nani gears up for the release of 'MCA', he talks about what he goes by in selecting stories, teaming up with talented co-stars, his upcoming movies, and more. 

I choose relatable, enjoyable stories:

Right from the beginning, the one criterion by which I have chosen scripts is their ability to entertain me.  I listen to stories as an audience.  They should be relatable.  However, some of the films I did in the early years didn't work.  

Lack of background is a blessing:

Maruthi comes across as a director with a lot of aplomb.'Mahanubhavudu' starring Sharwanand as hero releases on Sept 29. In this interview, the director talks about what is his priority as a director, if some other hero could have done this role better, etc.

What is the rationale behind the title?

Onscreen heroes are always special. They are definitely at a higher pedestal. You will understand the rationale behind the title once you watch the movie.
