Megastar Chiranjeevi who is going to celebrate his 60th birthday on August 22nd has given interviews to the various media outlets. In his interaction with the media members, he spoke at length about his come back to movies.

Earlier Chiranjeevi planned to announce his comeback movie on the eve of his birthday under  the direction of Puri Jagannadh but that didn’t work out. No movie is going to be announced on that day much to the disappointment of his fans. “I heard the script narrated by Puri Jagannadh and liked the first half of the story. But second half has some problems. I have asked him to work on that aspect. Meanwhile, he has become busy with Varun Tej’s movie,” Chiranjeevi reasoned the delay behind the announcement of his comeback film.

But his fans should not be worried because he will be appearing on silver screen in October this year as himself in his son Ram Charan’s current film being directed by Srinu Vaitla. “Yes, I am doing a small role in the movie,” Chiru confirmed the news.

Talking about his movie as lead hero, megastar said everything will be finalized in the next two, three months. “We have called in couple of writers and directors. Hopefully a story will be set shortly. My main focus is on this movie right now,” Chiru informed.

When asked about his choice of heroine in his new movie, the megastar revealed that his fans and well-wishers are asking him to pair up with either Anushka or Nayanatara but he will leave the choice to director. "There are many new talented heroines but I will leave it to the director. The only condition I would put is to select considering my age and image, " Chiru revealed, hinting that he would not act with the very younger heroines.
