2018: Bad year for Nani

The much-hyped multi-starrer ‘Devadas’ has ended its theatrical run. It has been lifted from all theaters. Although the producer claimed that the movie has become blockbuster and declared huge gross, in reality, the film has turned out to be colossal flop.

By end of its total run, the movie has collected mere Rs 23 Cr (share) worldwide. The film has done more than Rs 35 Cr pre-release business. Generally, Nani’s movies collect any where between Rs 25 Cr to Rs 32 Cr if they become hit. But ‘Devadas’ has failed to even cross Rs 25 Cr mark despite the presence of Nagarjuna.

Nani who has given series of hits in 2016 and 2017 has got two flops this year. This year has been pretty bad for him except the TV show “Bigg Boss 2”.
