Baahubali released in China in big way

Rajamouli's epic Telugu movie, Baahubali The Beginning, hit the screens in Mainland China. The movie was released in record number of 5000 screens. Only other Indian movie that ahs such massive release in China was Aamir Khan's 'PK' that grossed more than Rs 100 Crs there.

'Baahubali' is releasing in 2D and Dmax formats. A group of top Chinese media journalists came down to Hyderabad to interview the cast and crew last month. In Chinese media, the film got good coverage. It remains to be seen how much it would gross in this vast country, which is second biggest market for movies in the world.
