Confirmed: Shriya is Satakarni's queen!

Shriya Saran has signed the dotted line and will be acting in director Krish's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni'. She will play the role of Satakarni’s Queen. Balakrishna will don the role of Gauthamiputra. The unit has filmed some parts of the film in Morocco and recently few scenes in Hyderabad.

Shriya will be joining the unit for the next shoot schedule.

First Nayanatara was considered for this role. Then Anushka Shetty's name did the rounds. Both could not be a part of Balayya's 150th film due to date issues. Now Shriya Saran will be doing this role. This is her second film with Balayya. Krish is directing this film. This is Balakrishna's 100th movie and one of the most eagerly awaited movie.
