Karthi, Sai Pallavi in Mani Ratnam’s next?

There were recent reports that Mani Ratnam will be making his next movie with Naga Chaitanya and Rana. Like the earlier plans of making a movie with Nani and Karthi went kaput, this Naga Chaitanya and Rana movie has failed to take off. On the other hand,  Mani Ratnam is now planning his next film with Karthi.

This project might go on floors very soon, probably in the month of June. Mani is said to have convinced Karthi to play the male lead in this movie and Sai Pallavi for the role of female lead. 

Sai Pallavi shot to fame with her amazing performance in the Malayalam film 'Premam'. It is said that Sai Pallavi has recently attended the photo shoot at Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies office and the director is said to have impressed with the actress. More details are awaited.
