Who will direct Akhil’s second movie?

Even as his first movie is on the sets, Akhil Akkineni is attracting the top talent in the industry to be associated with him. Many in the industry believe he is potential big superstar. Buzz is that director Puri Jagannadh has come forward to direct Akhil’s second film and offered to produce the film on his own. Akhil too is in favor of working with Puri Jagannadh as it would fetch him mass hero image.
Akhil is making debut under the direction of V V Vinayak with the movie titled Akhil that is slated for October 21st release.

Unlike his elder brother, Akhil wants to position himself as an action star rather than a chocolate boy. He believes that working with directors like Vinayak and Puri Jagannadh at the beginning of the career would make him to reach out to the mass audiences. Later he wants to experiment with choice of directors and scripts.

Though Puri directed Nagarjuna in two films - Super and Shivamani, the two don’t share good equations right now. Will Akhil’s father Nagarjuna agree to Puri Jagannadh’s proposal? Let's wait and see.
