'96' the latest romantic drama in Tamil is garnering lot of attention and praises. The love story featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha as the lead pair is now running successfully in Tamilnadu. The film is all set to be remade in Telugu as Dil Raju bought the rights.

There have been speculations that Rana has evinced interest to do the movie in Telugu. It was reported that Rana called Dil Raju and expressed his desire to act in the film. However, Dil Raju is silent on these reports.

Amidst these speculations, Rana posted a tweet praising the film. "A love story told with the finest performers and great craftsmanship," he tweeted. Nani is Dil Raju's original choice. It has to be seen who would finally be acting in this remake.
