Box-office: Low numbers for Sita

Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Teja directed ‘Sita’ has collected just Rs 4 Cr in its first weekend. This is lowest ever opening for Bellamkonda who generally draws in massive openings in B and C Centers.
With poor word-of-mouth and bad ratings, the film has failed to pick up from day one. Bellamkonda’s regular audiences have stayed away from it.
Day 1 – 1.80 Cr
Day 2 – 1.20 Cr
Day 3 – 1 Cr
Total Weekend - Rs 4 Cr
The film was sold for Rs 16 Cr. It will have tough days ahead. In USA, the movie has collected mere $19k. In other words, it is disaster.
