The details about total budget of Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' is out. The producers themeselves revealed that the movie is made with Rs 55 Cr.

This is highest budget ever for Nandamuri Balakrishna's movie. Balayya's last biggest hit was 'Legend', which raked in just about Rs 40 Cr. None of director Krish's Telugu movies so fare have not crossed beyond Rs 30 Cr.

Still the producers took a huge gamble to lock the budget at Rs 55 Cr as it is Balakrishna's 100th movie and the hype surrounding the film is huge.

The makers are now happy as the film has done good pre-release business that exceeded the investment. In other words, the producers would be having good profits on this project before the release itself.
