Thousands of fans thronged the Pre-release function of 'Dhruva' to see Ram Charan. Even though the event was held at non-regular venue for a movie function, fans came in huge numbers. The event was held at Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy stadium at Yousufguda in Hyderabad on 4th December. 

Telangana IT Minister KTR and Andhra Pradesh's Education Minister Ghanta were the main guests. Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh, Aravind Swamy, Allu Aravind, director Surender Reddy and music composer Hip Hop Tamizha were present. Rana also graced the event.
