Dorasaani Trailer: Love in the times of feudal raj

Anand Deverakonda, the younger brother of Vijay Deverakonda and Shivathmika Rajasekhar, the younger daughter of actor Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, are debuting in ‘Dorasaani’. The film’s theatrical trailer is out.
 
The trailer is quite impressive. At the outset, it may seem the film is telling the template story of romance between a rich man’s daughter and a poor young guy. But this is not usual love story. It seems to be exploring the feudal system that existed in Telangana before independence. In those times, Doras aka feudal lords had lived in lavish bungalows known as ‘Ghadi’ and those Ghadis had witnessed many crimes against the poor men and women.
 
This film seems to be telling the young girl from Ghadi falling in love with a guy who paints houses.
 
Directed by newcomer Mahendra, the rustic period romantic drama is set to hit the screens this 12th.
