Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' set new records in his career when it was released during Sankranthi season this year. The film not only won great accolades but also set box-office on fire. It emerged as biggest hit in Balakrishna's career till date. 

So, naturally everyone expected that the movie would repeat the same magic on TV screens when it was premiered on Ugadi festival. Unfortunately abysmally low ratings came for the movie. The movie that was screened on Star Maa TV has reportedly got mere 5.5 TRP's. 

'Gautamiputra Satakarni' is the story of a Satavahana ruler. This is the first movie made on this great emperor. Directed by Krish, it starred Balakrishna in the titular character. It was Balakrishna's 100th movie in his career.
