Harish Shankar to give a break to remakes!

As one of the most talented writer-directors of Tollywood, Harish Shankar has been making right choices.  After the successful Allu Arjun movie 'Duvvada Jagannadham', he followed it up with 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' this year.  The Varun Tej-starrer reflected his good writing skills.

The buzz is that Harish was first offered to direct the Telugu remake of 'Pink' with Pawan Kalyan.  But the director didn't take it up and the project eventually went to 'MCA' director Venu Sriram.

So, what is actually on Harish's mind?  He is planning a new story for Power Star, with whom he had made 'Gabbar Singh' in 2012.  After doing all the remakes in his career, the mass director now wants to focus on original scripts.
