And finally, Mani Ratnam has found his heroine for next love story that has Karthi as main hero. As we reported earlier, Mani Ratnam has selected a Mumbai beauty for this movie in the place of Malayalam actress Sai Pallavi. Sai Pallavi opted out of the movie after she came to understand that movie requires her to do some intimate scenes with Karthi.

Aditi Rao Hydari, who is born in Hyderabad but grew up in Mumbai, will be singing duets with Karthi in this Mani Ratnam’s new romantic drama. Aditi Rao Hydari has acted in Bollywood movies like ‘Rockstar’, ‘Murder 2’, and ‘Fitoor’.

The movie will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages simultaneously. Karthi will be playing the role of an ace pilot, while Aditi will be seen as doctor. ‘Rudhira Pushpam’ is the title being considered for the Telugu version.

The film will commence its shoot in July or August. Rehman scores the music.
