Kartikeya’s first collaboration with leading production houses Geeta Arts and GA2 Pictures was launched with much fanfare two months ago. Titled ‘Chaavu Kaburu Challaga’, the film’s shoot was stopped due to lockdown. Recently, rumors began that the film might be put on hold.

To put an end to these speculations, the production house today released the working stills of the movie and also gave an update on the production. The film will begin its next schedule of shooting as soon as the lockdown is lifted.

Kartikeya too tweeted that he’s already missing the shooting. “I cant explain how badly am missing shooting .The only motivation during this time is our first look poster having me in the most prestigious  @GeethaArts .I am prepping myself for #BasthiBalaraju with our captain @Koushik_psk to make myself worthy of this life time opportunity,” he tweeted.

He plays the role of Basti Raju, a driver of a funeral vehicle. Lavanya Tripathi is the heroine. Newcomer Kaushik is the director.
