The makers of "Baahubali 2", all-time biggest hit in Indian domestic market, have been trying to release the movie in China, the world's second-largest market for movies.  They didn't get the permission until now.

After seeing the massive response for Indian movies such as "Dangal" (that became all-time highest grosser among foreign movies in China), "Secret Superstar" (which grossed more than 800 Cr) and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" (it grossed Rs 230 Cr) in China, the distributor of "Baahubali 2" is finally gearing up for releasing it in big way.

The film will soon get a theatrical release in China as per trade magazine Variety. Estars Media, which owns rights for "Baahubali 2" in China, has received the censor certificate, but has not yet decided a release date.

The first part of "Baahubali" was a flop in China. Rajamouli directed "Baahubali 2" set box-office on fire in India. The film's worldwide gross now stands at Rs 1600 Cr.
