Nagarjuna has clarified that he has not approached Sridevi to cast her daughter Jahnvi Kapoor in his son's film. Responding to news published in a video channel, Nagarjuna said the reports are not true.

It has been widely reported that Nagarjuna is trying to convince Jahnvi Kapoor to debut in Telugu in his son Akhil's second movie. But Jahnvi is now gearing up for debut in Bollywood.

On the other hand, Akhil's second movie is yet to commence its new schedule. Director Vikram Kumar is back from his foreign tour. Nagarjuna produces the love story that also strong action elements. Vikram Kumar is looking for a fresh face to cast opposite Akhil. No heroine has been finalised yet.
