Nani and Samantha win CCFA Awards

Critics Choice Film Awards (CCFA) were announced this year virtually due to coronavirus outbreak. Touted as India's first virtual Awards show, the awards were given in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Bengali languages. 

Nani and Samantha were adjudged as the winners in the Best Actors category by the jury. Nani secured the Best Actor award for his exceptional performance in ‘Jersey’ while Samantha bagged the award for her flawless acting in ‘Oh Baby’. Indie film ‘Mallesham’ was declared as the best film. 

‘Jersey’ director Gowtam Tinnanuri walked away with the honor of best director. Vivek Athreya’s writing skills won him Best Screenplay award for the film ‘Brochevarevarura’.
