Rao Ramesh losing out!

At one time, Rao Ramesh seemed to be alternative to Prakash Raj. From Trivikram to new directors, everyone went after him for dad’s roles or negative characters. His success has almost made Prakash Raj out of work in Tollywood for three years. Rao Ramesh won star character status.
 
Now scene has changed. Rao Ramesh is losing out to other actors as he has become pricey and choosy.
 
Rao Ramesh’s remuneration is too big for small films to take him. Also he is not even agreeing to slash down even when the character is interesting enough. The role of Sudheer Babu’s father in ‘Sammohanam’ was written for Rao Ramesh. Director Indraganti reportedly had travelled with him for some days but he was later replaced with Naresh as the former demanded huge remuneration.
 
Today, Murali Sharma and Naresh have become common feature in all films for the roles of hero’s/heroine’s father.
 
However, Rao Ramesh is not worrying because he doesn’t want to lower his star actor status just to be accessible to everyone. He wants to be premium, not regular.
