RGV - Nagarjuna film from November

Of late, Ram Gopal Varma has been in the news about his biopic on NTR titled ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’. But RGV is not going to launch this much-awaited biopic immediately. The maverick filmmaker cleared off the confusion about his next flick by stating that he would finish off his next with Nagarjuna before taking up ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’.

Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma are teaming up after two decades. Their new film is said to be an action drama centered on a father and a daughter.

“Just to put rest some speculations in the media ..My film with Akkineni Nagarjuna is starting from November and will end in February for an April release ..Lakshmi’s NTR will start in April and will be ready by September,” RGV posted on FB. It was Nagarjuna who introduced Ram Gopal Varma as director with ‘Shiva’ in 1989. Later they had worked together for ‘Antham’ and ‘Govinda Govinda’. ‘Shiva’ is a major milestone in the history of Telugu cinema.
