Rohit Shetty remaking Geetha Govindam in Hindi

After ‘Jersey’ and ‘Dear Comrade’, another Telugu film’s remake rights were snapped up by Bollywood producers. Leading director and producer Rohit Shetty has now bagged the remake rights of 
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Geetha Govindam’ and the filmmaker has announced it.

He will be producing it in Hindi but he may not direct it. The reworking on the script to make changes to suit the tastes of the Bollywood audiences are already under way.

Directed by Parasuram, ‘Geetha Govindam’ was one of the biggest blockbusters in the recent times. The film brought stardom to Rashmika and cemented Vijay Deverakonda’s position as a star.
