More and more women are opening up on sexual harassment at workplaces. Sexual predators in movie industries, media houses and other places have been exposed by few brave women. Several stories of sexual harassment have surfaced after Tanushree Dutta recently made allegations against Nana Patekar.

The other day, popular singer Chinmayi wrote down the experiences she had gone through. An anonymous woman also exposed famous Tamil lyricist and literary legend Vairamuthu. Seven women journalists have lodged complaint of sexual harassment against Times of India’s Hyderabad Resident editor K R Srinivas.

In the wake of Me Too India movement on the lines of Hollywood’s ‘Me Too’ and ‘Time’s Up’ movements, actress Samantha responded. She has lent her support to this movement.

“I am so happy that more and more women are finding the strength to say #MeToo. Your bravery is commendable. I am sorry though that some people, even other women themselves will shame and burden you with the question of proof and doubt,” she posted responding on the movement.

She also made it clear that she supports the movement. “Just know that you are saving many little girls with your voice. Thank You. I support the #MeTooIndia movement,” she posted further.
