'Sridevi Bungalow' row: Priya Prakash Varrier reacts

'Sridevi Bungalow' would have been a less known film but for its controversial trailer. The film shows its heroine, played by the sensational 'wink girl' Priya Prakash Varrier, lying in a bathtub. It's a scene of crime. 

Boney Kapoor has felt that the trailer is cheap as it bears a resemblance to how Sridevi died in a bathtub due to accidental drowning last year.

Days after he slapped a legal notice on the makers, Priya said that her film is not at all based on late Sridevi's life. "Nobody wants to rake in controversies (over Sridevi's death). Let it be left to the audience how they want to judge our movie. Let the audience decide if it's really based on Sridevi madam," she added.

A news report, meanwhile, has claimed that Boney doesn't want to give the makers a "free pass". He doesn't want the memories related to his wife 'sullied' in any way. Does that mean he will ensure that the title is changed?
