Vijay's Bigil to offset Venky's plans

Vijay’s upcoming Tamil movie ‘Bigil’ is also being dubbed into Telugu. Being directed by Atlee, the sports drama has Vijay playing a dual role. The movie is gearing up for the Deepavali release. It will give some competition to Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Venky Mama’ that is also slated for the Deepavali festival. 

‘Venky Mama’ is yet to announce its release date officially but the makers are looking at the Deepavali slot. 

Vijay’s recent release ‘Adirindi’ which was also directed by Atlee took good openings in Telugu states. This new film is a sports drama about football. Nayanthara is the heroine.
