Kollywood star Vikram and Keerthy Reddy starrer 'Saamy 2' was to have its trailer released today. But it has been postponed. Reason for this postponement is the ongoing protests in Tuthukudi. 

The team is in no mood to celebrate. The producer of the film Shibu Thameens tweeted, "It’s not the time for celebration, so with all your permission ( #Saamy Lovers and #Chiyaan fans ) we are postponing our trailer launch. I will update. Let’s pray for the people who lost their lives, more over pray this kind of situation should not continue and never happen..#saamy2."

Expectations are high on Saamy 2. The new date for the trailer launch will be announced soon.
