We long back broke the news that Rakul Preet Singh will be stepping in the role of Sridevi in NTR's Biopic that stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the role of his father NT Rama Rao. The biopic that is being directed by Krish will have plethora of famous stars in crucial roles.
 
In NTR's later part of career, Sridevi was one of the important actresses who had done nearly 14 movies with him. So, the makers have toyed with several ideas but finally settled with Rakul Preet Singh as the best option. However, a section of media started reporting that the makers have now approached Shradda Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha to essay the role of Sridevi.
 
Vishnu Induri, one of the producers of Biopic, slammed the reports and confirmed that Rakul will play Sridevi. She is the first and final choice.
 
Her name will be announced officially when the shoot of her portion is going to happen.
