Mythri scraps Ravi Teja's film!

Mythri Movie Makers planned to make another film with Ravi Teja but the production house has now dropped off the idea. The top production house bought the remake rights of ‘Theri’, Tamil Superstar Vijay’s commercial hit, to produce it with Pawan Kalyan but Pawan bid good-bye to movies to strengthen his fledgling political party Jana Sena.

It was then that Mythri has convinced Ravi Teja to step in the place of Pawan Kalyan. Director Santosh Srinivas has changed the script of ‘Theri’ to suit the image of Mass Maharaja. However, with the debacle of ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, the production house doesn’t want to take further risks.

Mythri’s successful streak came to halt this month with two consecutive flops ‘Savyasaachi’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. Considering all these aspects, the production house as well as Ravi Teja have decided not to go with the remake of ‘Theri’.
