Who will act in the remake of Tamil hit romantic movie '96' that starred Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha as the lovelorn couple? Many names were popped up from Allu Arjun to Rana. Sources close to producer Dil Raju inform us that he is now toying with the idea of roping in action star Gopichand.

Gopichand has an image that he best suits only to mass movies but the actor wants to come out from the mould and attempt something different. He is ready to do the film if Dil Raju agrees.

'96' remake in Telugu will also be directed by the Tamil director Prem Kumar. He has changed the script a bit to suit the Telugu audiences.

If male lead is finalised, the movie will hit the floors next month. But it has to be seen who would finally reprise Vijay Sethupathi's role in Telugu.
