These are the days when folks in the Telugu film industry go overboard with promotions for even ordinary films.  And NBK Films is co-producing not one but two much-awaited, special films: 'NTR: Kathanayakudu' and 'NTR: Mahanayakudu'. Yet, promotions have suddenly become subdued.  

Till last month, the makers seemed quite confident and unveiled promotional material without showing any hint of hesitation. Since then, they have changed the audio launch date twice.  The trailer date too has been changed.

It's sensed that the recent Telangana polls have put the 'NTR' team on the defensive.  Nandamuri Balakrishna has lost his face and also morale after the TRS swept the polls.  The Hindupur MLA had lambasted the ruling party but he couldn't secure even Kukatpally for the TDP.

'NTR' biopic movies are coming at a time when his star power is under question. Naturally, Balayya can't turn aggressive at such a time. It would seem out of place.  Therefore, 'NTR' promotions are going to be very subdued now.

The film's audio launch and trailer launch will be done on December 21st at Nimmakuru in Andhra Pradesh.
