Sharwanand’s ‘Ranarangam’ was the first film to announce its release date as August 2nd. However, doubts cast upon its release when Sharwanand got injured while shooting for the remake of “96”. Luckily, Sharwanand is fast recuperating and is ready to promote this film. So, producer of ‘Ranarangam’ is going ahead with the original plan of releasing it on August 2nd.
 
Now, two other movies have also locked their release dates as 2nd August. They are Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’s “Rakshasudu”, a serial killer thriller and “Guna 369”, Kartikeya’s new action drama. Will these three films fight out at the ticket window on that date or one of these would back out?
 
It would be foolish to compete all these three films on that date as collections would spit and ‘Manmadhudu 2’ is releasing on 9th August and ‘Saaho’ is hitting on 15th August. There is no room for breathing space for the three movies if they get released on 2nd August.
