Dil Raju and Allu Aravind to remake Jersey

A lot has been written about the Hindi remake of Nani’s critically-acclaimed sports drama ‘Jersey’. It was speculated that Karan Johar had bought the rights. But the rights are being taken by two leading Telugu producers Dil Raju and Allu Aravind. The top producers have joined hands to remake it in Hindi with a well-known cast.

Allu Aravind is not new to Hindi film production as he produced blockbuster ‘Gajini’ with superstar Aamir Khan. The film incidentally paved way for Rs 100 Cr club in Bollywood.

Now Dil Raju is joining hands with Allu Aravind to produce ‘Jersey’ remake in Bollywood and the final deal about rights are being finalized. The original producer Naga Vamsi will also be a partner in this remake. Gautam Tinnanuri who directed ‘Jersey’ in Telugu will also take up the Hindi remake as well. Who will act in this remake has to be seen.
