Veteran actress Vijayashanti who is currently acting in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ said that she is not leaving the Congress party. With BJP wooing all and sundry in Telangana intending to become an alternative force to ruling the TRS party, BJP’s leaders approached her. 
 
But Vijayashanti has stated that she is not joining any other party. She said she will remain with congress and continue doing films.
 
Vijayashanti is more interested in acting in films as she lost crucial time in her life to politics. She has not gained anything in the political world so far. In Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, she is playing the role of a teacher who changes the course of the movie’s story.
