Samantha is shooting for Sukumar's movie under scorching heat near Pattiseema in West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. In the movie, Ram Charan appears as a person who has slight hearing problems. The team has confirmed this news too. Now comes the rumor that Samantha too plays the role of a visually challenged girl in the movie. 

However, the PR team of the actress has rejected these rumours. The actress isn't blind in the movie. She is just playing a rich village belle. 

Apart from this project, Samantha has two more movies on her hands - 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2' and 'Mahanati'. In 'Mahanati', she will appear as journalist researching on the life of great actress Savitri.
