As expected, Mani Ratnam's 'Cheliyaa' became a disaster at the box-office. The movie has ended its first week's run and the collections during this week were almost zero. The openings were poor and it didn't show any growth thereafter. 

The movie was slammed by critics. Even die-hard fans of Mani Ratnam termed the movie ranks among his weakest movies. 

'Cheliyaa' is one of the biggest disasters in producer Dil Raju's career as well. Given the movie's result, will Ram Charan go ahead with Mani Ratnam's next, which is said to be a spy thriller?
