నితిన్ "అ ఆ" సినిమాతో అంద‌ర్నీ ఆశ్చ‌ర్య‌ప‌రిచాడు. త్రివిక్రమ్ తీసిన ఆ సినిమా మామూలు బ్లాక్‌బ‌స్ట‌ర్ కాదు. అమెరికాలో ఏకంగా 2.49  మిలియ‌న్ డాల‌ర్ల (దాదాపు రూ.16 కోట్లు)ను కొల్ల‌గొట్టింది. నేచుర‌ల్‌గానే నితిన్‌కి ఓవ‌ర్సీస్‌లో మంచి మార్కెట్ ఏర్ప‌డింద‌ని అంతా అనుకున్నారు. అందుకే "లై" అమెరికాలో బాగా పే చేస్తుంద‌ని భావించారు డిస్ట్రిబ్యూట‌ర్స్‌.. కానీ అంద‌ర్నీ షాక్‌కి గురి చేస్తూ ఆ సినిమా రానా సినిమా క‌న్నా త‌క్కువ ఓపెనింగ్స్‌ని రాబ‌ట్టింది. ఓవ‌రాల్‌గా 300కే డాల‌ర్ల‌లోపే క్లోజ్ కానుంది. అంటే "అ ఆ" వ‌సూళ్ల‌ల్లో ఇది 20 శాతం కూడా రాబ‌ట్ట‌లేదు.

LIE is beyond one's imagination: Hanu

Hanu Raghavapudi is a calm and composed man with no trace of nervousness two days before the grand release of 'LIE' on August 11.  In more ways than one way, the film wouldn't have shaped up as it has without the creative involvement of Anil Sunkara, who advised Hanu to tell the story starting with the film's antagonist.  

In this interview, the director gives his producers their due, while also saying what kind of a film 'LIE' is, and more.
