Kalyan Ram not contesting Telangana polls

A leading Telugu newspaper which is known as “mouthpiece” of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) published news that Kalyan Ram will be contesting the Telangana assembly polls. Maha Kutami, an alliance of Congress, TDP and other parties, is trying to field him from Serilingampally constituency as the area has large number of voters with Andhra roots.
 
But sources close to Kalyan Ram informed Telugucinema.com that it is completely false news. He is no way he is interested in politics at this moment. He will stick to his movie career.
 
It seems it is Chandrababu Naidu’s game plan to use Kalyan Ram and NTR Jr in Telangana for his own benefit but they are clever enough to know his hidden agenda. Both Kalyan Ram and NTR now will not fall for Babu’s tricks given the past history.
 
Kalyan Ram is currently shooting for his new movie being directed by cinematographer turned director K V Guhan in Vizag. He will be moving to NTR’s biopic next month.
